Q: I’m not sure about the stairlift cost.

A: We see each person as an individual with different requirements. The price may vary on various factors such as whether you have a straight or curved stairlift, and is there currently any obstructions (radiators, pipework etc). We provide a free no-obligation quotation through one of our friendly surveyors coming to visit you at home. They will be able to provide a full demonstration of the stairlift.

Q: Will the stairlift get in the way?

A: The latest stairlift has been redesigned to make it slimmer than its predecessor. The stairlift can be folded away whilst not in use, leaving plenty of room to walk up and down the stairs. The stairlift accessibility conforms to the British Safety Standards which ensures that staircases should not have any obstructions.

Q: How long does the installation process take?

A: We always like to provide an effective service, however we do not like to compromise speed over quality. Our highly trained installation team can usually install a straight stairlift in under one hour (with no obstructions). Overall, the whole process of booking an appointment, tailoring your stairlift, and the installation process takes a matter of days.

Q: Another company is cheaper, why is this?

A: We always like to provide competitive quotations to our clients, however some companies may be using reconditioned stairlifts that do not include servicing and after care assistance. We believe that caring for our clients with the additional services makes a big difference.

Q: Will the stairlift damage my hallway?

A: The stairlift rail does not attach to any walls. Instead, the stairlift rail is fitted into the stairs with screws that will not cause damage to the surrounding area or carpets. The installers always leave the area they have been working in, tidy and always show respect for the home they are in.

Q: I have trouble sitting down, is there another solution?

A: We understand that each person has individual needs so we are able to provide a variety of solutions to ensure that it is safe and suitable for your personal requirements. A surveyor will be able to explain the advantages of the Perch Stairlift or Sit/Stand Stairlift. Extra guidance can be requested such as grab rails to ensure you are safe getting on and off the stairlift.

Q: Is the stairlift easy to use?

A: The stairlift has been designed to be extremely easy to use with reliability in mind. A simple toggle moves the lift up and down the staircase. The stairlift can easily be folded away at the flick of a button.

Q: Where do I go from here?
